      CHRISTESSON

      Funeral services for Opal Pauline Christesson, 53, 604 N. Fifth St., will be held at West Funeral Home Chapel Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park. The Rev. Troy Henager will officiate. She died at a local nursing home today.

      Pallbearers will be Francis Johnson, Mark Klein, Carl Harilson, Gerry Stone, Joe Estes, Neil Estes.

      Mrs. Christesson was born in Stanton, Texas and moved to Carlsbad in 1965.

      She ius survived by three sons, Barney, Mark, and Kelly Christesson, all of Carlsbad; three daughters, Connie Shuping, Hale Center, Texas, Sandra Allen, Monument, Kaydenna Christesson, Carlsbad; two brothers, Bill Nance, Sierra Vista, Ariz., Roy Nance, Clairmore, Okla.; two sisters, Bertha Estes and Ruby Smith both of Carlsbad; her father, Mark Nance, Sierra Vista, Ariz.; seven grandchildren.
