      Mr. James Allen Holley, 78 of Honey Grove, Texas passed away Friday, June 20, 2008 at Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas.

      Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the Honey Grove Church of Christ, Mr. Preston Boles will officiate. Family visitation will be from 2 until 3 P.M. prior to service time at the church.

      James was born August 10, 1929, in the Dial Community, to parents James Alfred and Cora Lee Duncan Holley.

      He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War Era.

      He married Wilma Jean Baty on January 30, 1957 in Bonham, Texas.

      He retired as a foreman from Lone Star Gas Company after 41 years of service.

      He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jean Holley of the home, Daughter & Son-in-law, Carolyn & Dan Allbritton of Rockwall, TX. , Granddaughter, Alana Liane & husband, Madison of Dallas, TX., Grandson, Jordan Jackson and wife Kim of Denton, TX., 2 sisters, Irene Brown of Gilliam, LA., Pauline Matthews of Albuquerque, NM. and several nieces and nephews.
