John and Amanda Smith
John Hunter Smith (1834-1901) and Amanda Lewis MURPH (1848-1942), pictured above, were my Great-Great Grandparents who came to Texas from the Dutch Bend area in Alabama. John owned a farm near Grand Saline in Van Zandt County.
