  Obituary   Lucia Williams Buchanan Died of natural causes on September 6, 2009. Born in Abilene, Texas on September 15, 1919, she later moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she met her beloved husband, Richard, to whom she was married for 69 years. With her aptitude for numbers and attention to detail, Lucia enjoyed working in various accounting positions in Atlanta and after moving to Jacksonville, Florida in 1958 she worked for the public schools in the guidance department. In 1975 they moved to Ocala, Florida where she worked with the National High School Coaches Association for 12 years. She enjoyed world travel, particularly numerous trips to Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong and other parts of Asia to visit her son and his family. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Boulevard , Ocala. Location: Hiers Funeral Home
