  Obituary   ELDON BURK Services for Eldon Burk, 61, of Texico, were held Sept. 4, at Steed-Todd Chapel with J. K. Barfield officiating. He died Aug. 31 at home. He was born June 5, 1937, in Melrose. He was a Texico resident since 1979 and had lived in the Clovis area most of his life. He served in the U.S. Navy. Surviving are 3 daughters, Jackie Grimes, of Farwell; Dana Holman, of Dardanella, Ark., and Coy Burk, of San Francisco; a sister, Peggy Lee, of Clovis; his mother, Lola Burk, of Clovis; and 3 grandchildren. Honorary bearers were Wes Gant, Cletis Jones, J. K. Barfield, James Barfield, Dwayne Worley, Red Nevins, Ray Riordan, Shannon Holman and Lach Grimes.   Published in the State Line Tribune (Farwell, NM), Page 2 on September 11, 1998.
