      CLOVIS, N.M. - Johnnie Monroe, 80, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006.
      Services will be at noon Saturday in Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.

      Mrs. Monroe was born Sept. 17, 1925, in Lubbock, Texas. She was a homemaker.

      Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl King; a stepdaughter, Joe Marie Shields; two sisters, Lois Johnson and Evelyn Curtis; a brother, Weldon Crim; and two grandchildren.
