      Jack Pierce

      Jack Pierce, 44, of Dumas, son of a Callahan County couple, died Thursday afternoon in a one-car accident at Dalhart. Gravesite services will be 3 pm Saturday in Tecumseh cemetery near Oplin.

      Born July 13, 1930, Mr. Pierce married Merna Traylor in 1954.

      Survivors are his wife; two sons Jackie and Bobby, and a daughter, Patricia, all of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Pierce of Oplin; two sisters, Mrs. Robbie Rabborn of Lafayette, La., and Mrs. Sally Ronquillo of Tucson, Ariz.; and a brother Darrell of Longview.
