  Obituary   Memorial Services will be held at a later date for Eugene C. Raborn, age 86, who passed away on Monday, February 21, 2011 at the Regional Medical Center of Acadiana in Lafayette. Mr. Raborn is survived by his wife of seven years, Robbie Pierce Raborn; one daughter, Marcella Kemzuro and her husband, Charles "Chuck" and one son, Wendell Raborn and his wife, Elisa, all of Lafayette; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Smiley Raborn, Jr. of Calgary, Canada and William Raborn of Shelbyville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Smiley Raborn, Sr. and the former Effie Box. He was born in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana on May 29, 1924 and was a resident of Scott, Louisiana.
