Obituary
Delton L. Bohnet passed away on May 7, 2009 from a heart attack at the age of 75. He resided in Mesa, Arizona.
Del was born on July 8, 1933 in Burke, South Dakota to Irene Klas Bohnet and Godfrey (Jack) Bohnet. He moved to Spokane as young boy and grew up there as one of four children. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1951, keeping his friendships with his fellow "Hillyard Burglars" throughout his entire life.
Del honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He married Joyce Hutchins in 1957. They had two daughters, Lisa and Tammy. He later married Janita Goddard and together they retired to Arizona in 1994 after a long career as a master electrician with Maxwell Electric.
Del enjoyed his summer lake house on Pend Oreille Lake, sharing his phenomenal carpentry skills, playing pool and winning with his competitive nature, and spending quality time with friends. He loved all sports, whether it be watching or participating. He excelled in baseball, bowling, and pool.
Del is survived by his daughters Lisa Bohnet Wilson of Orem, Utah and Tammy Bohnet Langford of Las Vegas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his sister Joyce Momb. He is preceeded in death by his wife Janita, his sister Evelyn Fraser, and his brother Duane Bohnet.
A memorial gathering will be held in Mesa, AZ in November.
