  Obituary   Vernon E. Wagner, age 89, of Atlanta, Texas died Monday, December 02, 2019 in a local hospital. He was born February 5, 1930 in West Texas. Mr. Wagner served 20 years in the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife, Myrna Loy Milam Wagner of Atlanta, Texas; son, Curt Wagner of Atlanta, Texas; a special granddaughter, Julia Wagner Maddox; two great-grandsons; two brothers-in-law, Jack Milam of Atlanta, Texas, Jerry Milam of Tyler, Texas; and a number of other relatives. Visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Hanner Funeral Service. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, December 5, 2019, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Billy Dupree officiating. Interment will be in Courtland Cemetery, Queen City, Texas. Obituary published online 3 Dec 2019 by Hanner Funeral Home, Atlanta, Texas.
