Frankie Jan Shields Fincher, 62, of Amarillo died Tuesday, April 10, 2012.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Shane Nease officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Frankie Jan was born May 31, 1949, in Paducah to Jessie Clyde and Dilender Vaughn Shields. She, along with three sisters and two brothers, grew up on the family farm near Delwin, located about 14 miles southwest of Paducah.

She married Rodney Keeling with whom she had a daughter, Brandy; two sons, Rodney and Billy; four
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She later
married Brian D. Fincher in June 2000. She also had three stepchildren, Tammy, Duv and Destry.

Frankie enjoyed animals. Up until her illness in 2006, she was a professional
dog groomer in Canyon and Amarillo.

The family would like to thank the staff at Kirkland Court Health and Rehabilitation Center in Amarillo and Hospice Care of the Southwest for their concern and care for Frankie.

Survivors include her husband, Brian Fincher of Amarillo; a daughter, Brandy Friend of Amarillo; two sons, Rodney Keeling and Billy Keeling, both of Amarillo; two sisters, Evelyn Estep of Johnson City, Kan., and Norma Branson of Paducah; three stepchildren, Tammy, Duv, and Destry; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Living Waters Community Church, 10100 W. U.S. Highway 60, Canyon, TX 79015; or a favorite charity.
