  Obituary   Yvonne York Bennett, age 83, passed away April 2, 2017. She was born in Van Zandt County, Texas, on May 8, 1933, to John Coursey and Margaret Blue Coursey. Yvonne enjoyed a full life. She was known for her love of the Lord, family, friends, fishing and cooking. She spent many happy times sharing her catfish and dewberry cobbler. She was preceded in death by her first husband Henry Aaron York, son Gerald Glenn York, second husband Jasper Steve Bennett, sister Dorothy Murphrey and brother Edward Akins. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Glenn Taylor; granddaughter Sherry Emerson and husband Steve; grandson James Taylor and wife Heather; great grandsons Austin Taylor and Micah Emerson; sister Margaret Ann Moore; and many other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
