      PHEBA – Polly Gibson Millsaps, 95, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014, at her residence in Pheba. She was born Oct. 26, 1919, in Pheba, the daughter of William Columbus and Myrtle Kimbrell Gibson. She was a member of Pheba United Methodist Church. She was a cafeteria worker in Clay County High School for a number of years. She married Alexander Bryant Millsaps on Sept. 1, 1935, and he passed away March 11, 1987.
      Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 19, at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Rhodes officiating and the Rev. R.C. Bryan assisting. Burial will follow in Pheba Cemetery. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
      Survivors include her two sons, Kim Millsaps (Linda) and Bryant G. Millsaps (Linda), both of Pheba; granddaughter, Kimberly Moffitt (Andy) of Horn Lake and one great-grandson, Connor Millsaps of Horn Lake.
      She was preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Melodie Millsaps; and two sisters, Wilese Walker and Morie Curtis.
      Pallbearers will be Tommy Millsaps, Chad White, Buddy Downer, Lawrence Brantley, Gerald Richard McLemore and Charles Warren Peay.
      Honorary pallbearers will be Hiram Millsaps, Buddy McGee, Dr. Sue Simmons, Claude McKee, Phil and Marilyn Freeman and Chris and Julie Freeman.
      Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
      Memorials may be made to Pheba Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 5, Pheba, MS 39755.
