Obituary
PHEBA Imogene Millsaps Brewer, 79, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 1998, at her home in the Henryville community of Clay County. She was born in Montpelier to Hiram and Evie Elizabeth Ellis Millsaps. She was a homemaker, and an active member of the Hebron Baptist Church and the Hebron Cemetery Care Fund. She was a member of the board of Hebron Christian School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walker Green Brewer, on July 8, 1989.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Hebron Baptist Church with the Rev. R.C. Bryan officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Brewer Bryan of Cedar Bluff and Jamie Brewer Epting of West Point; one son, Walker Gene Brewer of Pheba; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joy M. Brewer and Polly M. Christopher, both of West Point; two brothers, S.L. “Red” Millsaps of West Point and Luther Lee Millsaps of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bryant A. Millsaps and L.E. Millsaps.
Pallbearers will be John Blankenship, Johnny Mitchell, Bob Cunningham, Tim Jones, Donald Ware and James Holloway.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Hawkins, Jack Thompson, Jabe Christopher, Harper Sizemore, Charlie Simmons, Johnny Hamblin, Bill Hampton, James Crowson, Dr. R.T. Lott and Dr. Julian Hill.
