      Ann P. Standefer passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at Circle of Life in Springdale, Ark. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 29, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors, Waco. Burial will be in Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at the funeral home.


      Ann Pearl was born in Clovis, New Mexico, to the late William Pinkney and Carrie Emily Vinson Wyly. She married James Henry Standefer on November 24, 1937. Annie lived the majority of her life in Waco. She was a homemaker and member of Park Lake Drive Baptist Church.


      Annie was preceded in death by her first husband of 58 years, James Henry Standefer; her second husband, W.L. Anderson; sister, Minneola Fulbright; and brother, Joseph Wyly.


      She is survived by her son, James Michael Standefer and his wife, Diane, of Rogers, Ark.; grandsons, Shawn Standefer, of Pittsburgh, Pa., Peyton Standefer and his wife, Trang, of Fayetteville, Ark., and Colin Standefer, of Fayetteville; sister, Cleta Seton, of Pasadena, Texas; and other relatives and many friends.
