Obituary
Mrs. Maxine McDougal Bryan, 89, passed away on April 27, 2016, at her home in West Point. Mrs. Maxine was born November 26, 1926, in Pheba the daughter of the late Jodie and Audie Sansing McDougal. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church. She was a very giving person who loved her family, church, and community. She was an accomplished golfer and an avid animal enthusiast. She was married to William Burnett "Mr. B" Bryan, Sr. and he predeceased her on January 3, 1968. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by Three Brothers: Claude McDougal, Oscar "Bunt" McDougal, and Horatio Sansing and Nephew: Jimmy Hudson.Funeral services will be April 30, 2016, at 3:00 P.M.from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend R.C. Bryan officiating and assisted by Reverend Dale Funderburg. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.Survivors include her Step-Daughter; Ann Bryan Jameson and Two Step-Sons; Jimmy Bryan (Kay) and Reverend R. C. Bryan (Mary) all of West Point: Special Niece: Jan Hudson Leach of Little Rock, AR and Special Nephew: Gary Hudson (Connie) of West Point; One Sister: Mrs. Corinne Hudson of West Point and a host of other nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jason Hudson, Jim Hudson, Jacob Hudson, David Leach, Barry Sansing, Max Leach, Mickey Tollison, Billy Buck Staggers, Tim Moore, Mike McCoy, Coe Bryan, Robbie Robinson and Bill Bryan.Honorary Pallbearers will be Her Caregivers : Dee Manning, Rosie Vance, Loretta, Wren, and Lisa Clay, her special friends: Kathy McCoy and Rachel Pate, Members of First Baptist Church, and Amy Berry.
