      West Point – Services for E E Jack Hudson, Jr., 81, who died Oct. 24, 2003, were held 2 pm Oct. 26, 2003 at Calvert Funeral Home with Rev R C Bryan officiating.

      Interment was held in Palo Alto Cemetery.

      Mr. Hudson was a mail carrier for 32 years and a U S Air Corp World War II veteran. He served in the 8th Air Force and the 94th bomb group during the war and was a recipient of the Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, the Purple Heart and the Unit Citation. He was also a member of Faith Christian Church.

      Survivors include his wife, Corinne McDougal Hudson of West Point; one daughter, Janet Hudson Leach and her husband, David, both of Little Rock; one son, Gary Hudson and his wife, Connie, both of West Point; six grandchildren, Jason Hudson and his wife, Kristi, Jacob Hudson, Jim Hudson, all of West Point, David Leach, Lauren Leach, Max Leach, all of Little Rock; one great grandson, Kolton Hudson of West Point; one brother, Roger N Hudson and his wife, Doris, of West Point; and a number of nieces and nephews.

      He was preceded in death by one son, James Everett Hudson and two sisters, Earline Davis and Lois Young..

      Pallbearers were Jason Hudson, Jacob Hudson, Jim Hudson, David Leach, Neil Young and Kenny Hudson. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Bobby Dill, Max Leach, James Wray, Joe Wray, Henry Myers, Joey Myers and Grady Berryhill.
