      Ben Finley, 70, of Sanger, died Monday March 31, 2014 at Senior Care Center in Denton, TX. Ben was born on April 15, 1943 in Bridgeport, TX to Charlie and Mary (Stephens) Finley. He was married to Ann Young on July 1, 1966 in Los Fresnos, TX. He played basketball on a scholarship at Decatur Baptist College. Ben was a member of the First Baptist Church, where he was very active in the Deacon Family Ministry. He also was a faithful member of his Sunday School Class since 1977, and had been a past president of the Sanger Lions Club. He owned and operated Sanger Mirror and Glass for many years before he retired. Ben is survived by his wife Ann Finley of Sanger; sons, Gerald Finley and his wife Jackie of Colleyville, Scott Finley and his wife Shala of Pueblo, CO; sisters, Litha Moss and her husband Emory of Decatur, Earlyn Hood of Mt.Vernon, Barbara Thedford of Lolita, Peggy Meadows and her husband Clifford of Rhome, Lottie Coen of Fort Worth; brothers, Bob Finley and his wife Faye of Moundridge, KS, David Finley and his wife Sharyn of Yoder, CO; sister-in-law, Sherry Finley of Denton; grandchildren, Collan Finley, Matthew Finley, Eli Finley, Jonathan Finley, Benjamin Finley and Emma Finley. Ben was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Aretha Keefer and her husband Clarence; brother, Charles Finley; and brothers-in-law, Roswell Thedford, Jack Hood and Steve Coen.
