      PITTSBURG - Funeral services for Jodie Ralph Harris, 90, of Rockwall will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg with the Rev. Steve Packer officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Harris died Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett. He was born July 6, 1916, in Hughes Springs to John Thomas Harris and Lillian Griffin Harris. Mr. Harris was a pharmacist. He served in the U.S. Navy where he served as a pharmacist for four years. He was a Baptist and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin. Survivors include his wife, Jo Taylor Harris of Rockwall; son, Jodie Harris Jr. of Avinger; one step-son, Robert B. Taylor Jr. of Kemha; daughter, Margie Ake of Hughes Springs; two step-daughters, Beth Morgan and Mary Akin, both of Rockwall; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one brother, Charles Harris of Kansas. Pallbearers will be Matt Aslan, Joseph Aslan, Jonathan Aslan, John Morgan, Rex Akin, Tim Truitt, and John Truitt.
