      Mildred Ruth Wooster Fortner, age 91, of Seymour, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 22, 2014. She was born in Atlanta, GA on December 2, 1922. Mrs. Fortner was a member of the Baptist faith. She worked in cafeteria management and her last employment was at Dollywood.


      She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirk and Susie Wooster; husband of 73 years Warren W. Fortner, daughter Cathy Johnson Chauncey, brothers; Clarence, Kirk, George, Karl, Pug, and Charlie; sisters, Frances, Lillie Mae, Zola, Viola, Louise, and Jane


      Survivors:
      Brother: Henry G. Wooster of Tallahassee, Florida
      Daughter: Sharon Ruth Fortner Fore (Warren) of Seymour, TN
      Grandchildren: W. Keith Fore (Teresa) of Troutman, NC, Dana Fore Keiffer (Joe) of Pendleton, KY, Jeremy C. Johnson (Nicole) and Katy Hoffman (Drew) both Conyers, GA.
      Great-grandchildren: Mack, Mitch, and Savannah Keiffer, Nicole, Brooke, and Allie Fore, Jacob, James, and Jacey Johnson, and Emma-Lyn Collett.

      Family and friends will meet at Atchley Funeral Home, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN 37863 at 11:30 AM Monday Nov. 24 for a procession to East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Hwy, for a 1:30 PM graveside service with Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating.
