  Obituary   JACKSONVILLE - Services for Doris L. Alwell, 73, Jacksonville, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville, with the Revs. Clifford Taylor and Jan Pate officiating. Burial will be in McKnight Cemetery, Cushing. Mrs. Alwell died Feb. 21, 2007, at her residence. She was born Oct. 7, 1933, in Cushing. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew A. Alwell; son, David A. Alwell; and son-in-law, Tom Johnson. Survivors include daughter, Patricia A. Newman, Teresa L. Bailey, Houston, and Diane M. Johnson, Jacksonville; brothers, Jerry McKnight and Max McKnight, both of Jacksonville; sister, Helen Powell, Jacksonville; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Pallbearers are Jeff Bailey, Andrew Johnson, Duane Dominy, Noel Dominy, Charles McKnight and David McIntyre. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
