  Obituary Mrs. Evelyn Ruth Weatherby, 69, of Hubbard died Sunday, September 14, 2003 at her residence. She was born in Waco May 19, 1934. She had lived most of her life in Hubbard and once worked for the City of Hubbard and the First State Bank of Hubbard. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hubbard. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Steven Ryan Weatherby. Survivors include: her husband, Jame; mother, Ruth Sanders of Hubbard; two sons, Jimmy Weatherby and wife, Vicki, and Steve Weatherby and wife, D’Anne, all of Hubbard; six grandchildren; one stepbrother, Bob Sanders of Port Lavaca; and two stepsisters, Dot Woodall of Hubbard and Clara Schulze of Malone. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, at Wade Funeral Chapel in Hubbard with Rev. James Hooper officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard.   Published in teh Hillsboro Reporter on September 18, 2003.
