      Charlie “Peanut” Mauldin, 48, of Big Spring, died Sunday, September 24, 2017 at his residence. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at 1601 Indian Hills. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Myers & Smith Chapel. Burial will be at Terrace Cemetery in Post, Texas.
      Charlie was born February 4, 1969 in Galveston, Texas to Kay Guthrie Mauldin and Lloyd Mauldin. He grew up and graduated from Snyder High School in 1987. He had worked at Wal-Mart in Midland and in Big Spring. He had worked in Midland for several years and had relocated back to Big Spring 12 years ago. He had lived most of his adult life in Big Spring. He was a member of College Baptist Church.
      He is survived by his mother and step-father: Kay and Ken Beeler of Big Spring; one son: Johnathan Mauldin and wife Amber of Ft. Worth; three brothers: Junior Mauldin of Forsan, Monty Hendricks and wife Sarah of Big Spring and Erik Hendricks of Ft. Worth and three granddaughters: Elizabeth Mauldin; Madalyn Mauldin and Willow Mauldin.
