Richard had at least 2 concubines prior to these marriages. One source shows the marriage to Gonnor (Gunnora) as being 952 ( age 16) It is also possible that Godfrey was the son of Gonnor by Richard 9 years prior to their actual wedding which is why the title was passed to the first post marriage male.
