Iola Oliver Goggins
Mrs. William Goggins
Mrs. Lola Oliver Goggins, 70, of 10 Newton St., Pooler, died Tuesday at the Oglethorpe Sanatorium after a long illness.
She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Pooler and the Pooler Garden Club.
She was also a former council member of Pooler Town Council.
Survivors include her husband, William G. Goggins of Pooler, one son, William G. Goggins, Jr., of Savannah; one sister, Mrs. Bruce Oliver Byrd of Pooler; one brother, Dr. Robert Lee Oliver of Savannah; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Goggins - Mrs. William
Funeral services for Mrs. Goggins will be held at Trinity Methodist Church, Pooler, GA, at 4 p.m. Wed. Rev. Wesley Jones and Harold Brooks officiating. Active pallbearers will be Tommy Shearouse, Jack Shearouse, Morris Johnson, Richard Dotson, Louis Dotson and Harry Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers are John Hodges, I.C. Kennedy, Clyde Strickland, Frank Cliatt, Frank Benton, William E. Sinclair, Robert Adams, Jack Williams, Herbert Shobe, B. U. Douglas, T. E. Douglas, Mac Pierce and Clinton Jones, Sr. Interment will be at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Pooler. Mrs. Goggins will lie in state at the church 3 p.m. till time for service.
