Obituary
William G. Goggans
William Gary Goggans, 87, of 1317 E. 49th St. died Sunday at Candler General Hospital after a long illness. The Pooler native lived in Savannah 13 years and retired as warehouse manager for Semmes Hardware Co. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Richard T. Turner Masonic Lodge 116, F & AM, and American Legion Post 209. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I.
Surviving are two brothers, F. W. Goggans, Jr., of Savannah and HY. H. Goggans of Ooletewah, Tenn.; and three grandchildren, Miss Gary Alison Goggans of Statesboro and Steven Mark and Miss Julie Ann Goggans, both of Savannah.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Fox and Weeks Funeral Home, burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery in Pooler.
