Johnny D. Boxxe
Johnny David Boxxe, 45 of 303 Louisville Road in Pooler, died Wednesday, July 4, 1973, at St. Joseph's Hospital after a short illness.
He was a member of the Pooler First Baptist Church, a veteran of the Korean War and had served 26 years with the 165th Air National Guard. He was a member of the Richard F. Turner Masonic Lodge No. 116 and a member of the Elks Lodge No. 183.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Joyce Byrd Boxxe of Pooler; two daughters, Misses Teresa Ann Boxxe and Tammie Joyce Boxxe, both of Pooler; a son, David Bruce Boxxe of Pooler; his father, Harry J. Boxxe of Pooler; two sisters,Mrs. J. B. Sanders of Altamonte Springs, Fla. and Mrs. L. E. DeWitt of Pooler; and two brothers, W. E. Boxxe of Pooler, and G. M. Boxxe of Pooler.
Funeral services will be today (July 5, 1973) at 5 p.m. at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Pooler.
Fox and Weeks Funeral Home is in charge.

Graveside services for Mr. Boxxe will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Pooler, Ga.
Rev. Frank Major officiating. Pallbearers will be P. C. Corbin, J. B. Eitel, Jr., R. A. Meeks, J. D. Ryder, Jr., C. R. Shearouse, J. W. Shearouse.
Honorary pallbearers will be the 165th Air National Guard.
