  Obituary   SPRINGFIELD -- Beulah Exley Weitman, 82, died Dec. 8 at Effingham Hospital. The Effingham County native was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Charity Circle of ELCA and a charter member of the Altar Guild and custodian of Bethel for 41 years. SURVIVORS: a daughter and son-in-law, Alice Weitman Banks and Derrell Banks of Springfield; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Walter Weitman, and Preston and Lynn Weitman, all of Springfield; two sisters, Willgenia Carrigg of Rincon and Lena Wendelken of Springfield; a brother, Waring Exley of Rincon; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel. SERVICE: 3 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Lutheran Church, burial in Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
