  Obituary   RINCON – Meldrim C. Exley, 82, died Friday at the Effingham County Hospital after a long illness. The Effingham County native was a member of the Jerusalem Lutheran Church and had retired from the CertainTeed Products Co. Surviving are four daughters; Mrs. Roscoe Cook, of Guyton, Mrs. Vernon Clifton of Savannah, Mrs. Ravenell Weitman and Mrs. Olivia Weitman, both of Springfield, three sons; Harold Exley of Cuthbert and Lowell Exley and Valdee Exley both of Rincon, two sisters; Mrs. Addie Kessler and Mrs. Alma Seckinger, both of Rincon, 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Jerusalem Lutheran Church with interment in the church cemetery. Leslie Thompson Funeral Home of Rincon was in charge.
