Hattie Grace Exley Cook
GUYTON - Hattie Grace Exley Cook, 93, died Friday, June 27, 2008 at Effingham Extended Care.
The Effingham County native was a member of New Providence Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 45 years, and was past President of W.M.U.
She retired from Effingham County School Board where she was the manager and dietician at Effingham County High School and was past President of the P.T.A.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Wyndell L. and Marcia Cook, Daniel and Sadie Cook all of Savannah, and Ronnie Cook of Rincon; grandson, Andrew Cook; step-grandchildren, Tammy Parker, Lisa Ochs, and Jeffrey Thomas; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Weitman, Olivia Weitman, both of Springfield, and Myrtice Clifton of Savannah; brother, Valdee Exley of Rincon; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2008 at the funeral home.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2008 in Guyton Cemetery.
