      Gladys Anita Oglesby Exley


      Rincon - Gladys Oglesby Exley, 82, died Monday, December 29, 2003 at her home.The Effingham County native was a homemaker and a member of Rincon United Methodist Church, the Eva Oglesby Circle and W.W. Oglesby Sunday School Class. She was loved by all and an accomplished seamstress and an avid doll collector.


      Survivors include her husband of 62 years. Valdee C. Exley of Rincon; four daughters, Judith Exley Edenfield of Rincon, Jane Exley Rowell of Rincon, Joy Exley Stanton of Hilton Head, S.C. and Julie Exley Oliver of Rincon; three brothers, Ernest Oglesby of Eustus, FL, Morris Oglesby of Rincon and Robert Oglesby of Virginia Beach, VA; three sisters, Mavis Johnson, Maree Harden and Martha Zeigler all of Rincon, eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren


      Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Rincon United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Rincon Cemetery.
