      Donna Gail Knight, 51 years of age, passed away on Tuesday November 8, 2016 at Memorial Health in Savannah, GA with her brother at her side.
      Donna was born on January 25, 1965 in Savannah, GA to the late Calhoun and Idell Knight. She was the youngest of four children. Donna was a 1985 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and was a student at High Hope for several years. She participated in the Special Olympics for many years. She was a resident of a group home in Jesup, Georgia for 10 years,and then resided in Lyons at the Harper House for 10 years. While living in Jesup she was baptized.
      Donna loved riding roller coasters and enjoyed many hours swinging in her swing and listening to music. Perry would bring her home often to visit family and friends. Once Donna met a person she never forgot them. May she rest in peace; she will always be our #1.
      Donna was not only preceded in death by her parents, but also by one brother, Wayne Knight.
      Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00pm at Lanes Primitive Baptist Church with Glenn McDaniel officiating. 
      Interment will be in the church cemetery.
      The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Pineland Behavioral Health Developmental Disabilities, 5 West Altman Street, Statesboro, Ga. 30458.
