  Obituary   RINCON -- George David Walcher, 101, died March 9 at home. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He was a retired Rincon postmaster after 41 years. He was a member of Rincon Lions Club and the Historical Society of Effingham. SURVIVORS: his wife, Clyde Helmly Walcher of Rincon; a daughter and son-in-law, Roberta Walcher and Robert Dickey of Savannah; a sister, Jeanette Walcher of Sylvania, Ohio; a brother, Robert Walcher of Sylvania; a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, David and Virginia Dickey of Rincon; three great-granddaughters, Jacquelyn, Michelle and Kaitlyn Dickey, all of Rincon; and two nieces. FUNERAL: 4 p.m. today at St. John's Lutheran Church, burial in Rincon Cemetery. Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel.
