      Rose Mary H. Smith


      RICHMOND HILL - Rose Mary Helmly Smith, 79, died Feb. 7 at home under the care of Hinesville Hospice.


      She was a native of Effingham County and lived in Richmond Hill the past 16 years. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Richmond Hill.


      SURVIVORS: a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Roy White of Richmond Hill; a son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Cindy Smith of Richmond Hill; a sister, Frances Thomas of Springfield; a brother, James Allen Helmly of Rincon; three grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.


      VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. today at Carter Funeral Home, Bryan Chapel.


      FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Richmond Hill, burial in Hillcrest Abbey West.


      REMEMBRANCES: First Baptist Church of Richmond Hill building fund.
