      Perla Jerald
      Perla Jerald, 87, died Thursday at Effingham
      County Hospital.
      She was a native of Effingham County
      and was retired from McCory's Depart-
      ment Store. She was a member of Garden
      City United Methodist Church.
      SURVIVORS: two daughters, Barbara
      Tuttle of Atlanta and Nancy Stephens
      of Garden City; five grandchildren, seven
      great-grandchildren and several
      nieces and nephews.
      VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. today at Mas-
      sey Chapel Funeral Home in Garden
      City.
      FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Saturday at Gar-
      den City United Methodist Church, burial
      in Springfield City Cemetery.
      REMEMBRANCES: Garden City
      United Methodist Church Building Fund.
