George Washington Hinely
George Washington Hinely, 61, of 509 Barnard St., died in a local hospital yesterday after a long illness.
He was a native of Effingham County and a member of the Bloomingdale Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie Nease Hinely, Savannah, a daughter, Mrs. H. H. Dugger, Bloomingdale; two sons, Maurice Hinely, U.S. Navy, and Bruce Hinely, U.S. Marine Corps; three brothers, Louis A. Hinely and Vallie T. Hinely, both of Savannah and Ralph T. Hinely, Rincon; four sisters, Mrs. A. M. Dasher, Mrs. John Lenzer, and Mrs. M. A. Pye, all of Savannah, and Mrs. V. M. Ulmer of Bloomingdale; three grand children and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for George Washington Hinely, who died Friday, will be held at 4 p.m. today at the Bloomingdale Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Tom Johnson, pastor. Burial will be in the Gravel Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ernest Dasher, Kenneth Dasher, Robert Dasher, Herbert Dasher, William T. Hinely and Alford Pye.
Fox and Weeks funeral Home is in charge.
