  Obituary   Margaret (Peggy) Dasher Landrum, 87, our beloved mother and grandmother passed on to be a welcomed addition to our Lord and savior in His Kingdom of Kingdoms on October 26, 2017. She was born April 23, 1930 in Metter, and raised by parents Charles and Ida Collins Hendrix. Peggy was proceeded in death by her parents, middle son of her three children; Eddie Emanuel Dasher, Jr. and father to her children Eddie (Bud) Emanuel Dasher, Sr. She worked as a registered nurse, dental assistant and a dedicated teacher to her children and others of GOD'S word. Surviving: children, Rebecca (Becky) Fortner Davis and eldest son, Mark Dasher. She leaves eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren who will all love and miss her dearly. Peggy was of the Pentecostal faith and a dedicated witness and teacher of the miracles of Jesus Christ our savior. Services will be held at Wood Funeral Home of Metter on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. and officiated by Bro. Dan Bryant. She will be laid to rest at Lake Cemetery of Metter. Visitation will be Saturday October 28, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. Wood Funeral Home of Metter is in charge of arrangements.
