      Found in The State 13 October 1958: Mrs. Allie Jones Patterson, 66, 5033 Wittering Drive, died Saturday night at her residence after several months illness. Mrs. Patterson was born in Macon, Ga., December 28, 1890, the daughter of the late Rosalee Franklin Jones and Judge Malcolm D. Jones. She had made her home in Columbia for the past 35 years and was a member of St. Martin's in the Fields Episcopal Church. Mrs. Patterson was twice married, first to the late Mr. Alex Dickson, Sr. and second to the late Mr. Weston Patterson. Surviving are two sons, Alex A. Dickson of Columbia and R. Weston Patterson of Florence; 7 grandchildren, Alex Dickson, Jr., Eugene McNulty Dickson, Eliza McNulty Dickson, Robert Blakely Dickson, all of Columbia; Weston Patterson, Harry Dixon Patterson and Allie Jones Patterson, all of Florence; one brother, Malcolm Jones of Macon, Ga. Funeral services will be held at the graveside, Elmwood Cemetery, today at noon conducted by her rector, the Rev. Mr. William A. Thompson.
