      VIDALIA -- Mrs. Myrtice Sammons Way, 90, died Aug. 24 at Bethany Nursing Center. She was a native of Treutlen County and a resident of Vidalia the past 48 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Vidalia.

      SURVIVORS: a son, Rabun of Mount Vernon; three sisters, Flo Davis of Vidalia, Betty W. Taylor of Elberton and Nina Hobbs of Gordon; four grandchildrend, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

      FUNERAL: 3 p.m. today at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Vidalia, burial in Center United Methodist Church Cemetery in Vidalia. -Savannah Now, Aug 1999
