  Obituary   Mrs. Corene C. Todd, 95, entered into rest January 18, 2016. Mrs. Todd was a lifelong resident of Glascock County and the oldest of eleven children born to the late Will Chalker and the late Addie Hammock Chalker. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Magnolia Baptist Church, Gibson, Georgia. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Todd was predeceased by husbands, Roy Swint and Pete Todd; her son, Ernest Swint; a daughter, Elaine S. Gilmer; a son-in-law, Earl Smith; and a grandson, Jimmy Smith. Survivors include her daughter, Vivian S. Smith of Gibson; a step-daughter, Pat Carr (Earl) of Thomson; a son-in-law, Allen Gilmer of Gibson; two brothers, Hollis Chalker of Gibson and Winnard Chalker (Hazel) of Thomson; four sisters, Wilma Mathis (Olin) and Frankie Griswell (Moses) all of Gibson, Betty Johnson (Lewis) of Thomson, and Helen Johnson of Conyers; a grandson, Michael Gilmer (Stephanie), two great grandchildren, Breanna Gilmer and Boone Gilmer; and two step-grandchildren, Kevin Carr and Steve Carr. The family wishes to thank her caregivers, Rosella, Darlene, and Beulah. Funeral services will be held at Magnolia Baptist Church, Gibson, GA with Rev. Tommy Harwell and Rev.
