Obituary
Funeral services for LaNeta Windham of Hobbs, N.M., will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2007, at Bel-Air Baptist Church in Hobbs. Shawn Drake, pastor of Bel-Air Baptist Church, will officiate.
Visitation is 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesay, February 7, 2007.
Services are being directed by Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home.
Mrs. Windham, 56, died Saturday, February 3, 2007, at her home in Hobbs. She was born August 25, 1950, in Hobbs, N.M.
She married Monty Windham on April 14, 1972, in Lovington, N.M.
LaNeta was a native Hobbsan and enjoyed traveling and fishing. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. and she was a loving mother and grandma.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Scott and wife Daisha Windham of San Diego, California, and Dusty Windham of Hobbs, New Mexico; a stepdaughter, Melissa Reeves and husband Ted of Flower Mound, Texas; a sister, Linda Richardson and her husband Rich of Enid, Oklahoma; a grandaughter, Destiny Windham of Hobbs; and two stepgrandchildren, Ryan and Ross Reeves of Flower Mound, Texas; and a host of family and friends who will miss her very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Monty Windham; her parents, Donald Eugene and Leta Von Russell; a son, Jason Dean Windham.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
