      GILMER– Penny Renae (Taylor) Wachter, 47, of Gilmer, Texas passed from this life after a lengthy illness at East Texas Medical Center, Gilmer, Texas on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Born in Plainview, Texas, she was the daughter of Robert Ardell and Peggy Irene (Ferguson) Taylor.


      Penny always had a warm, life changing smile and presence. With a caring, fixing personality, she was known to have never met a stranger. Penny was always ready to help in any way possible for those in need. She will never be forgotten, always in our hearts, and will be missed by her family along with many friends and neighbors.


      "We love you our perfect mother, sincere friend, and loving wife."


      She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Taylor.


      Penny is survived by her mother, Peggy Taylor of Longview, Texas; husband, Robert Wachter of Gilmer, Texas; son, Chase Moreland of Pennsylvania; daughter, Katarena Wachter of Bettie, Texas; brothers, James Taylor of Longview, Texas, Jerry Taylor and his wife Darlene of Massachusetts, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of loving friends and neighbors.


      Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 6 – 8 in Gilmer, with a Chapel Service at Croley Funeral Home, 305 West Harrison, Gilmer, Texas at 11 AM, Thursday, April 17, 2014. Graveside Services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, April 21, 2014 at Sunset Cemetery, Mountain Home, Texas,


      Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Kerrville Funeral Home and Croley Funeral Home, Gilmer, Texas.
