      Cherie Elizabeth Wolford, Carmel, Indiana, died Saturday, October 7, 2006. She was born in Harlingen, Texas to Othello and Anna Elizabeth (Ries) Walters. Cherie received her undergraduate degree from Howard Payne University and her Masters degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She worked in Children's counseling in various areas, and had been a homemaker to her family. Cherie is survived by her husband, Allan Wolford; her mother; son, Alexander Nathaniel Leon Wolford; brothers, Kembel Walters and Thel Walters; sisters, Florence Ann Hiatt and Patricia McAlister. Her father preceded her in death. Friends may visit from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center - Carmel. Funeral Services will be held Friday October 13, 2006 in Combs, Texas.
