  Obituary   Hazel R. Stanhope, 79, who formerly lived at 1927 Goldenrod St., Sarasota, died Friday at a local nursing home. Born in Foster, Ga., she came to Sarasota 17 years ago from Washington, D.C. She was a Methodist. She leaves two sons, Fred H. Stanhope, St. Petersburg and Thomas A. Stanhope, Washington D.C. and three grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sarasota Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. Jesse E. Waller, Wilson Funeral Home, 3731 Tuttle Ave., South Cate, is in charge of arrangements. Published in the Sarasota Herald Tribune, January 13, 1974.
