Harry F. Duke, 59, 222 Sewell, Gadsden, died Sunday at Holy Name of Jesus Hospital. Survivor: Mrs. Lorette Duke.
Crestwood Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Crestwood Chapel with Drs. Harrell Cushing and Oscar Davis officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Other survivors: step-daughter, Brenda Brown, Boaz; sister, Mrs. Ann Thompson, Gadsden; brother, Fred Duke, Gadsden.
Pallbearers: Bud Williams, Raymond Burke, E.E. Coley, James Sandlin, Euclid Bryant, Eual Nesmith, Boots Means.
Honorary pallbearers: Drs. Roger Suttle, Arthur Ennis, George and Emily Oumra, and Eric Baum, and all personal friends.
Mr. Duke was a native and lifelong resident of Gadsden. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gadsden, a veteran of WWII and a member of VFW Post 8600. Mr. Duke was retired from Sieman-Allis after 32 years of service.
The body will remain at the funeral home through the hour of service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 tonight.
