Lorette Wiggins Boutwell Duke (March 21, 1926 AL - Apr. 07, 2008 AL) is the daughter of Ransom Early Wiggins (Oct. 06, 1882 AL - Apr. 10, 1940 AL) and Ada V. Morris Wiggins (1886 - June 12, 1973 AL), who are both buried at Happy Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Sardis City, Etowah County, Alabama.
Lorette Wiggins Boutwell Duke is the twin of her sister, Odette Wiggins Chapman (March 21, 1926 AL - May 22, 1998 AL), who is buried at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, East Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama.
Lorette Wiggins married first to James Ralph Boutwell on May 20, 1942 in Etowah County, Alabama.
Lorette Wiggins Boutwell Duke was a Cosmetologist and she worked many years for Mrs. Bobbie Baker, who owned "Bobbie's Beauty Shop", in downtown Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama, and after Mrs. Bobbie Baker closed "Bobbie's Beauty Shop", and opened another beauty shop on Hoke Street, in East Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama, Lorette Wiggins Duke worked at that beauty shop.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2008 at Crestwood Memorial Chapel for Lorette W. Duke, age 82, of Gadsden, who died on April 7, 2008. Rev. Phillip Ellen will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Duke was a retired hairdresser and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. Duke; sons, Jimmy and Ronnie Boutwell; grandsons, Perry Morton and Ashley Brown; one brother; and six sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Brown; sister, Audrey Roberts; brother, Roy Wiggins; granddaughter, Sonya and her husband, Dewayne Troxtel; great-grandchildren; Kaley and Kyle Troxtel and Alexix J. Brown; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Special thanks to Dr. Courtney Lowe, Southern Care Hospice and the 4th floor nurses and staff of Riverview Regional Medical Center.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home.
